On Monday, May 18, teens from the Boys & Girls Club of Clifton participated in an exciting Career Day experience designed to expose members to a variety of professions and future career opportunities.

As part of the program, teens selected and visited one career location based on their interests, allowing them to gain firsthand experience and insight into different industries. Students had the opportunity to explore careers through visits to organizations including Early Childhood Education at The Club, Integrated Power Services, the Assistant City Manager’s Office in Clifton, Lamart Corporation, Berkeley College, Valley Bank, and Kennedy Law.

Throughout the day, students learned directly from professionals about the skills needed to succeed in each field. The hands-on experience allowed teens to ask questions and begin thinking about future goals and career aspirations.

In addition to the site visits, Gina Bucci from Taco Bell spoke with students about leadership and opportunities for growth within the workforce. Her encouraging message reminded teens that success comes through hard work and staying open to new opportunities.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the businesses, professionals, and community partners who welcomed our teens and helped make Career Day a success. Their time, guidance, and willingness to share their experiences provided students with valuable insight and inspiration for their futures.
